Independent design house Cluj-Napoca, Romania

Embedded product development, concept to production.

We design PCBs, custom System-on-Modules, carrier boards and the RF and power electronics around them — for connected industrial, edge-AI and unmanned systems. Vendor-neutral, because we have no module catalog to sell you.

  • ITAR-free, EU-designed
  • Full IP transfer
  • NDA before you send anything

Services

Twelve disciplines, one accountable team

Most embedded products need hardware, RF, power and enough firmware to prove the board works. Split across four suppliers, integration problems become nobody's problem.

Product development

Any idea, brought to reality. Feasibility through prototype to a product you can manufacture.

PCB design

From blank sheet to fabrication package — including the high-speed work most shops sub-contract.

Embedded hardware

The whole board: silicon selection, architecture, schematic, layout, RF, power and bring-up under one accountability.

System-on-Module design

SMARC, OSM and LGA modules designed end to end — pin-out definition, DDR fly-by routing, power tree, fabrication package.

Carrier board design

The board your module plugs into: evaluation kits, adapters, and production carriers.

Rigid-flex design

When there is no room for connectors and no tolerance for a harness that shakes loose.

RF & wireless

Getting the radio to work on a crowded board — LoRa, Wi-Fi 6, cellular, GNSS and RTK.

Power & battery

Rails that hold under load, batteries that report honestly, and shutdowns that don't corrupt storage.

Bring-up & firmware

First power-on to a booting board — then the firmware that makes the hardware demonstrable.

EMC & pre-compliance

Most EMC failures are designed in months before the chamber. This is the work that prevents them.

Defense & dual-use

Airworthy electronics, designed in the EU

European defense procurement is expanding faster than the supplier base can absorb, and the constraint is engineers who have delivered flying hardware. UAV avionics, autopilot carrier boards, flight-controller re-implementation and maritime autonomy.

  • ITAR-free and EAR-free by design — no US-origin controlled content, so no licensing friction on a sovereign program.
  • Geopolitically screened BOMs — component selection filtered on origin, ownership and your program's exclusion list, with the basis documented.
  • Discreet by default — clients are described generically and system parameters never reach the public internet.

Why arcane

Senior engineers, no layers in between

You talk to the engineers

No account manager between you and the people designing your board. The engineer who answers your question is the one who routed the DDR.

Where a program needs specialisms we do not carry in-house — mechanical design, certification testing, FPGA RTL — we bring in vetted partners under our accountability rather than handing you another contract to manage.

No silicon to defend

Design houses that sell modules recommend the modules they sell. We have no catalog, so the trade study is real: Renesas RZ, ST, NXP i.MX, TI AM62 — whichever fits your interface list, thermal envelope, longevity requirement and unit cost.

Occasionally the honest answer is "buy off the shelf, don't build this." That answer is free.

EU jurisdiction, your IP

Full transfer of everything we produce — native source files, not just outputs. EU-based, EU jurisdiction, GDPR-clean, no offshore handover gap.

Central European time. Project communication in English, Romanian or German — DACH clients get technical reviews in German and a short flight.

Capabilities

Silicon, standards, tools

How we work

Five stages, priced before each one

You get a task-level estimate in person-days before work starts — not a range, and not a surprise at invoice time.

  1. 01

    Idea

Thirty minutes with an engineer, not a salesperson. NDA signed first if you want one.

  2. 02

    Feasibility

Fixed-price. Architecture, budgets, risk register and a written recommendation you own either way.

  3. 03

    Prototype

Schematic, layout, fabrication package, then bring-up and a validation report.

  4. 04

    Certification

Designed for from the start; testing through an accredited house, with fast turnaround on findings.

  5. 05

    Production

DFM, panelization, test strategy, and full IP transfer with native source files.
